WHY DO I BELIEVE?
Because GOD is in my life. As a Christian, I live a life of faith, and security. I have assurance of all things, both present and eternal. Without this belief, without my relationship with God, I would not be the person I am today. GOD gives me the peace to accept a cancer diagnosis and KNOW everything will be okay. GOD loves me as His child, and although sometimes I might not see the big picture, His plan for me will always be the right one. It is in Him that I trust. His hands guide my doctors, they guide my surgeons.

FOUR THINGS GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW
1. You need to be saved. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) “As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one;” (Romans 3:10) ”For the wages of sin is death...” (Romans 6:23) Matthew 16:26, Ecclesiastes 7:20
2. You cannot save yourself. “For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9) “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.” (Titus 3:5) John 14:6
3. God has provided a way for your salvation. “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3) “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) “ the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) John 20:31, I Peter 3:18
4. You can be saved today. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” (Acts 16:31) “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (II Corinthians 6:2) “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10) “God be merciful to me a sinner.” (Luke 18:13) John 3:36, Hebrews 2:3

Salvation is a gift and you can receive it if you will admit you are a sinner and ask Jesus to save you. It's as simple as saying this prayer:
God…I know I am a sinner..I am sorry for my sins…I believe that Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for the forgiveness of my sins and to save my soul…I ask for forgiveness of my sins and that Jesus be my Saviour…I trust Him now as my Saviour…In Jesus name I pray…Amen.
